What Fitness trend(s) will you try?

This year is almost done and over with. Most will be trying new fitness trends, joining gyms, watching the premier of their favorite sitcoms, or simply preparing for Doomsday. Whatever your plans may be CNN, published an article about the top 20 predicted Fitness trends. Personally, I think that trying new fitness routines sparks a newfound interest in "working out"!So on that note let's begin the countdown...(for the purposes of this blog i will only be counting the ones relative to us Princesses! All of them will be slowly revealed until December 31st.
1. Personal Trainer :The Good things about having a personal trainer are that you have the one-on-one benefit, you have a personal fitness guru at your hands. They have (hopefully) years of experience and knows what works for different body types. The bad about having a personal trainer is that they are not inexpensive, personality match; this is major like any relationship you need to click if you don't you might as well kiss your money and not your "fat" goodbye.
2. Strength Training: The major Pro about Strenght Training is that it raises your metabolic rate and burns fat. And of course it helps you build lean muscle! Now the Cons about Srenght Training, is that this type of exercise doesn't help with your endurance but only helps build muscle.
3.Exercise and Weight-Loss programs: The pros about Exercise are that you will more energy it will help your bones...come to think about it there are no cons that I can think of, now weight-loss is a whole different ball game. If you work out to lose weight and you have diabetes and weigh 300lbs, okay I get your motives (health, longer life, etc...)But if you are a normal healthy weight then you know better dear.
This is the first part of more to come on the top fitness trends, stay tuned Princesses !And remember "Energy and Persistance conquer all things"-Benjamin Franklin

Welcome to Fitness Princess's Blog!

I decided to begin this fitness/health Blog to help others achieve their fitness and health goals. I consider myself a fitness freak as well as a health food nut. This blog is not meant to help you "lose" weight, it's meant to help you start or continue a healthy lifestyle with fun fitness included. I personally dislike dieting, no matter what you try it will always be a Yo-Yo diet. This blog is also not meant to be about me, it's meant to be for fellow fitness freaks and people that would like to know more about this way of life. I will not post any personal information about myself because that would not be helpful. I will say that I am a young female that loves life and am very determined. I will also not be posting "stats" about myself (weight, height, etc.) because that would not help anyone nor myself, everyone's body is built differently and is unique to themselves. My goal with this blog is to EMPOWER women to like the Genes they have, I will also be on this journey for I am not perfect either. I will be posting facts about fitness not myths, health articles that I find helpful, and my own opinions on recent and past health crazes. I named this blog, Fitness Princess, because whether you believe you are a Princess or not, I believe every woman should be treated like one and treat themselves like one as well, regardless of the actual definition.
Lastly, this blog is meant to be educational, fun, empowering, but most of all helpful not detrimental. I hope you enjoy my posts and feel free to post, actually it's very encouraged!
And remember, "Strive for progress, not perfection"
